Notes on general selection admissions

When applying to the general selection admissions, the applicant must submit a TOEFL, IELTS or TOEIC score. For a list of score sheets valid for submission, please refer to the "Overview of the Entrance Exam."
Applicants who have not yet obtained a score are advised to take the test as soon as possible. With TOEIC, for example, applicants need to take the test in May to obtain a score in time for the July admissions.

Regarding the October enrollment system

The graduate school allows enrollment in October for both Doctor's and Master's courses. The entrance examinations for the October enrollment are carried out in June (general selection) and July (special selection) along with the entrance examinations for the April enrollment of the following year.

In addition, applicants for October enrollment who wish to take the exam should consult with the prospective faculty advisor before filling in the application, because the application requires the prospective faculty advisor's approval after an interview.
