Study at the graduate school covers a wide range of subjects, including the design, construction, management and evaluation of information systems and their relationship to individuals and society. It was founded as an independent graduate school in April 1992 as an educational and research organization to train specialists in the field of information systems.

With the rapid development of computers and networks, information systems have spread to every corner of individual daily life and become indispensable in social activities. The school aims to develop new information systems science, particularly advance research and education on the relationship between information systems and individuals and society, and nurture IT leaders, advanced IT engineers and researchers.
